Gareth Neal Crafts the Perfect Chair to Enjoy a Whiskey @TheGlenlivet

Gareth Neal, The GlenlivetDeluxe single malt whiskey label The Glenlivet has long been pursuing the art of distilling whiskey, crafting its first batch of Nàdurra — Gaelic for “natural” — whiskey in 1824. Celebrating its heritage and the best way to “enjoy a dram of whiskey,” The Glenlivet has teamed up with The New Craftsmen to commission British furniture designer Gareth Neal to create the Nàdurra Dram Chair. The body of the chair is crafted from Aberdeen Angus leather, while the legs and arms are crafted from oak bark just like the historic barrels used in the aging process of whiskey. Elsewhere, the chair is detailed with durable copper rivets that hold the frames in place, while a glass and bottle holder round out the charismatic piece. The Dram Chair is etched and numbered individually, check out the video below to learn about the making process gone into the chair.
